Only positive about this place was the service. Overall, we were not satisfied with the food and ended up going somewhere after to eat something else so we would be full.Ĭan't speak to the decoration or design of the restaurant because we had to sit outside since the inside tables were all filled up.

Also the food took forever to come out and we were starving but that could have just been because the restaurant was busy. The butter chicken was wayyyy overpriced for the quality and taste of the dish, like $20. We had to order white rice and naan separately on the side too which I'm not used to because normally it comes with the dish. The portion sizes were small-barely enough to fill 2 people. Barely any spice in it and the chicken chunks were dry and flavorless. We ordered the trio of non-veg samosas to start which was good I suppose but honestly I think it's very hard to mess up samosas. Considering this is located in a big city with many options for Indian food, I would have expected the food to be much better than it was. Overall not very impressed with this place. I liked that the plating was fairly simple with just a few garnishes because the food really spoke well for itself. The naan was soft yet crispy on the bottom. The chicken dishes all had a good bite and weren't too dry. The curries were well seasoned but not salty and had a balanced creamy texture. Others - The other dishes were all very good as well, but I feel like the above 3 dishes shined a bit more.

The salmon was fresh, definitely not overbaked as many restaurants are prone to do, and the accompaniments were delicious as well.

The tandoori chicken was just how I like it - the white meat was juicy, the skin was crispy, and of course bursting with flavor.

Dunk or brush with the chutney for an even more intense burst of flavor!Įntree highlights - The prawns were amazing! Heavily seasoned and lightly fried, yet I could taste the freshness of the prawns and get that full textured bite that I expected. They were both delightfully new combinations of sweet, savory, umami, and crunchy. This was my first time seeing a bhel puri or chaat papri. Not too dry, seasoned well, not dripping with oil. Food was soooo good.Īppetizers - The beet cutlet was new to me, and I really liked it.
